An abbreviated (5 min) version of excerpts from this TourThruHell was given as testimony at the Capitol on 1/17/07 in support of a ‘Working Group’ proposing re- creating an Ombudsman for Corrections for abused inmates in MN http://www.humanrights.state.mn.us/resources_ombud_pubdoc.html when they get abused by the likes of jail staff identified here:
6/9/06 Perpetrators, Conspirators, Witnesses, Log/Incident Recorders, or jail staff otherwise highly likely aware of the hell they held me in:
Lieutenant Brian Blaha; Sergeants Brian Peterson, Huggett, Charles Pangrac;
Deputies Brie Pileggi, Vernon Trombley, Alan Ryan, Q Grabau, Lee Nori, Tichich, Sonday, Weyek; and Shawn Clarin, David Blaess, blonde female;
Nurses Deb Wade (aka Miller), Robert Hillestad
Although brief versus the full 3+ hours…this will still feel like a jumbo jet load of hell if you can stand to listen to it all. Then remember that this represents a small fraction of the total audio of expressed agony from throughout the ordeal…think in terms of multiplying the pain you hear by 25 times…like running a mile versus running a marathon…and a marathon no one would ever have trained for. Then, on top of this, after listening to this or any other jail audio of the agony they put me through, try to wrap your brain around this:
1) County Internal Affairs agrees that what I suffered was horrible.
2) County Criminal Investigator agrees that I clearly was in pain, severe pain, the whole time, they knew it, etc.
3) Virtually everyone that I know of who has listened to any of this audio agrees with 1) & 2)…except those compromised by the whole “THICK Blue Line” thing.
4) BUT - City Prosecutors right to the top insist (disingenuously per their unstated, unadmitted ‘protect our law enforcement family’ mission) that they don’t know if a jury would find that I was in pain…or that 3+ hours of this was intentional…even though they broke every rule in the book to do this to me…laughed and mocked throughout…made specific decisions to NOT stop the hell…refused to take pictures or bring in a 24hr on call detective upon removing me from hell…etc…etc…etc… 5) AND - City Prosecutors failed to do any real investigation…no interviewing…of a single witness, suspect, or perpetrator.
6) AND - City Prosecutors claim there is “No Evidence” of intentionality. “No Evidence”…3+ hours…laughing…mocking…intentionally not following virtually every jail policy like get a doctor’s order; physically check circulation, skin color, etc., every hour in the cell; never entering the cell; specifically discussed not having checked on me at shift change…and then still consciously, intentionally, decided to not check; etc.; etc.; etc! NOT EVEN THE NURSES CHECKED!! THIS WAS DONE COLLECTIVELY…FAR, FAR BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT…
7) AND - State Law clearly states that what was done to me is criminal.
8) AND - Federal Prosecutors/Investigators followed essentially the same path and ignored similar laws as above.
